Article: Homemade live popsicles

Homemade live popsicles

Homemade live popsicles

As the weather is warmer, you may not be tempted to eat as much as in the colder season. It is important to make sure that the potentially smaller amount of food consumed during the summer is super nutritious and that your gut health does not suffer from a reduced dietary variety.

Each live popsicle is only 70 calories, so it is perfect as a light snack or a refreshing dessert. It also contains live bacteria and is a delicious source of fibre.

Ingredients for 4 popsicles

  1. 250g coconut yoghurt or any live yoghurt
  2. 30g frozen strawberries
  3. 30g frozen blueberries
  4. 30g frozen raspberries
  5. 30g frozen avocado chunks
  6. 2 tsp agave or alternative nectar

Directions

Blend all ingredients, pour into popsicle moulds and freeze for 3-4 hours. Before consuming, take a popsicle out of the freezing and wait a couple of minutes.
