Any updates will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.

4. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

4.1. All services provided and products sold by Kurami are only intended for people residing in the United Kingdom (“the Service Area”). Kurami will not generally accept orders from individuals outside the Service Area but may do so at its sole and absolute discretion in certain instances. We supply fresh deliveries within Greater London and frozen deliveries nationwide within the United Kingdom (excluding certain remote postcodes). Details of serviced areas and delivery windows are listed on our website.

5. ALLERGEN INFORMATION AND HEALTH

5.1. All of our food may contain traces of all 14 allergens, and beyond that list. Unfortunately we are not able to cater to any customers with food allergies (including any that may result in anaphylactic shock), severe food intolerances or insulin dependent diabetics. We cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens due to handling environments.

5.2. If you have any allergies, intolerances or specific dietary requirements please contact us for specific advice about whether we can cater for your dietary requirements. If you do have any such conditions and use our services you do so at your own risk. Customers remain responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information on labels for each delivery.

5.3. We can only remove the requested dislike/allergen from your dishes, and do not guarantee a substitute. We cannot ensure the taste of the dishes. As all Kurami meal paths are non-refundable, kindly refrain from ordering if you do not agree with the above.

5.4. We strongly recommend that you seek medical advice before starting any of our available meal plans especially if you have any conditions which may affect your dietary requirements; for example, it is generally accepted that: being under 18, being pregnant, breastfeeding and/or being underweight may have an impact upon an individual’s dietary requirements.

5.5. The information provided by Kurami is not to be taken as medical advice nor a substitute for medical treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on our website or other Kurami publications, including social media posts or bulletins. This includes any advice that Kurami may provide to you by email, over the telephone or in person.

6. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

6.1. Our acceptance of your order will only take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

6.2. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this in writing and will refund you any charge taken automatically for the product(s) ordered. We may be unable to accept your order for the following reasons (which are examples only and without limitation): because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources for which we could not reasonably plan, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product or because we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

6.3. We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

If an ingredient becomes unavailable, we may substitute it with a comparable item of equal or higher quality. We will notify you where possible before delivery.

8.1.Orders can be placed with us by signing up through our website [www.kurami.co.uk] and following the links in the ‘Order’ section. At the time you sign up or place orders with us we will ask you for some personal information which will then be held by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8.2. Details of how we will take payment from you is to be found below.

9. PAYMENT

9.1. We accept Visa debit & credit cards, Master Card, Switch, Paypal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Diners, Google Pay, Union Pay, Shop App.

9.2. Your card will be charged in advance for the full value of the initial subscription period or the total order. Payment details must be received through the online secure payment solution provider stripe, Shopify payments or Paypal, via our website or by emailing our team at info@kurami.co.uk.

9.3. We reserve the right to amend or refuse the sale if the payment received is not correct and in accordance with our current published pricing structure. Before your subscription expires, we shall endeavour to contact you to discuss renewal. If you wish to renew your subscription, we shall again require full payment in advance for subsequent subscription periods. If we are not able to contact you before your subscription expires, we will assume that you do not wish to renew the subscription until otherwise advised by you.

9.4. Please note that prices may alter, and that we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice by amending our advertised price list. This will not affect any subscriptions already paid for in advance.

9.5 Our pricing timelines are as detailed in your account. Kindly note, that we reserve the right to change these timelines. This will not affect any subscriptions already paid for in advance. If your card is declined, or there are problems with your payment, the system will reattempt the following day. We cannot ensure delivery times will be met if there is a delay in receiving the payment. It is your responsibility to reach out to us if your payment is delayed, to ensure you are scheduled in for the correct delivery day. We accept no responsibility for any delays due to a delayed payment, and will issue no refunds to you.

9.6 You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details remain accurate and up to date. We accept no liability for failed or delayed payments due to incorrect information provided by you.

10. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

10.1. If you wish to cancel your order or subscription, please log into your account, and pause/skip or cancel your delivery. You can also email info@kurami.co.uk. Please note that if you decide to email us instead of using the portal, this will need to be at least 3 working days before your next renewal. Working days are Monday-Thursday, and exclude Bank Holidays. The minimum term for a subscription is 2 consecutive orders.

10.1.1. You can cancel your ongoing Kurami subscription at any time after the minimum term of two orders as long as you tell us before we are due to take the next rolling payment for the next subscription period. Cancellation may be delayed by a week where we receive your request later than two weeks.

10.2. All Kurami meal paths are non-refundable. In the event that we decide, to our discretion, to issue a refund, the refund will be paid minus the administration charge to cover credit card charges and our internal administration costs. We use three main payment providers: Stripe, Shopify Payments and Paypal.

10.3 If you notify us of your intention to cancel your order or subscription within three (3) business days (Monday to Thursday; Friday to Sunday are not working days for Kurami) of entering into a contract with us, and products have already been delivered to you, we will cancel your order or subscription and refund you the total amount paid, less the following:

  • the price of products already delivered as of the cancellation date;

  • the price of products that have already been prepared for the following scheduled delivery at the time of your cancellation request; and

  • an administration charge to cover credit card fees and internal administration costs.

The administration charge will vary depending on the payment provider you used (Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal). For the avoidance of doubt, a cancellation request received on a Monday may result in charges for that day’s products and the following day’s products if those have already been prepared.

10.4. All our meal paths are non-refundable after the notice period outlined.

10.5. Once your order has started, if you wish to cancel, we will not issue any refunds or credits. For requests to cancel your order after the notice period outlined in 10.3, we will endeavour to be flexible and consider your request at our discretion. We are unable to issue refunds, but may at our discretion issue a credit. If you wish to suspend, or change the dates of your package, this will only be done if the replacement dates are convenient to Kurami. Where ingredients have already been purchased or other expenditure incurred (such as credit card, banking, administration or courier charges), we reserve the right to make reasonable allowance for this in any refund, or credit, that we may agree to make. If indeed we assess that the product delivered is not up to standard, a replacement will be offered where available and you accept to receive a replacement.

10.6. If you are unhappy with any products provided for legitimate reasons (i.e. missing items within an order of meal plan) you must notify us within 24 hours of scheduled delivery. We may provide a refund or other compensation as appropriate at our sole discretion. We require photographs and reasonable cooperation to investigate any issue. Perishable items may need to be retained for inspection on request.

10.7. Any refunds will be made within thirty (30) days from the date on which your order or subscription is cancelled. Shipping fees are not refunded unless the whole delivery fails due to our error.

10.8 If you cancel before the two weeks term, and if possible, we will strive to do our best to be flexible, and if we decide to approve a refund we will do so minus administration charges and the discount received for subscribing.

11. DELIVERIES

11.1. The price of delivery will be included in the price paid when confirming your order.

11.2. Our service is not available outside of the Service Area unless specifically agreed at the point of order.

11.3. We are able to deliver to an address other than the shipping address provided that this is clearly indicated in the relevant order.

11.4 If you require us to access secure parts of your home or building to complete delivery, please notify us at the time of placing your order so that we can coordinate the most suitable delivery method. Please also keep us informed of any changes that may affect our ability to deliver to you. If we cannot access your building due to changes that you have not notified us of, we will attempt to contact you to arrange alternative delivery. If delivery cannot be completed in such circumstances, we reserve the right to charge you for that attempted delivery. If we have made a reasonable attempt to deliver your box and it is subsequently stolen, we reserve the right to charge you for that delivery and not issue a replacement. If you are unable to receive your box personally and have not designated a safe location for delivery, the third-party courier will use their discretion to identify an appropriate place to leave it. However, we accept no responsibility for boxes that are lost, stolen, or misplaced in such cases. Unless otherwise specified in your delivery instructions, the courier may not buzz or ring your doorbell. The delivery driver may take a photograph as proof of delivery. Once the delivery has been completed, the responsibility for the products passes to you.

11.5. For our London meal paths, we will deliver products to you every day of your subscription between the hours of 06:30-10:00, while for our Nourish Now range that time is between 6:30-20:00. Time for delivery shall not be the essence of our contract. Delays beyond our control may occur. We will only dispatch the ordered products again or provide a refund where an order has not been delivered to you by 23:59 on the due date. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, or courier delays.

11.6. We shall not be liable for any non-delivery, even if it is our fault, unless you notify us by email by 23:59 on the due day. Any liability for non-delivery shall be limited to replacing the ordered products within a reasonable time or issuing a credit note to you for that day/the value of the order.

11.7 On receipt, chilled and frozen Products must be placed into a refrigerator or freezer immediately. We are not responsible for deterioration caused by delayed storage. Frozen Products must remain frozen until use. Kurami is not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery.

12. TITLE
