The Story Behind Kurami.
Kurami is a female-founded, UK-based meal delivery company, founded by Camilla Pigozzi Garofalo.
Growing up in Italy, our founder Camilla experienced food as something that brought people together. Meals were not just about nutrition, they were about family, culture and connection. That perspective stayed with her throughout her academic studies in Social Anthropology and later during her Master's in the Anthropology of Food, where she explored the relationship between food, health and society.
After working in healthcare, Camilla saw how closely nutrition and wellbeing are connected. She also experienced first-hand how difficult it could be to eat well while balancing a busy life, particularly while managing gluten and dairy intolerances.
Those experiences became the foundation of Kurami. Every meal is crafted without ingredients that contain gluten and dairy, chef-crafted and nutritionist-approved, with a focus on plant diversity and fibre. All our meals are delivered directly to your door making nutritional eating not only delicious, but effortless.
