Here are four simple steps to help you incorporate this ritual into your daily life.  

  1. Start with Gratitude: Take a moment to appreciate the meal in front of you.
  2. Engage All Senses: Notice the colors, textures, and aromas.
  3. Chew Slowly: Aim for 20–30 chews per bite to fully experience each flavor.
  4. Pause and Reflect: Check in with how you feel during and after each meal.

Start small—choose one meal a day to eat mindfully and observe how it makes you feel. Over time, this ritual may become one of your favorite ways to honor your body and the food that nourishes it.
